To celebrate the launch of Harry's independent venture, the studio was commissioned by Bose Collins to create the website, promotional material and animations. Harry's first show celebrated the work of Paul Karslake, an artist producing breath taking over sized work for clients such as The Rolling Stones. Having worked with the team at Bose Collins on many projects they trusted my imagination for Harry's latest show and the result was some very, very creepy animations! Blowback was one of the first clients for Studio Gpop and I was delighted to take the reigns of the art direction and design for 6 issues, working closely with the contributors who provided us with incredible design, illustration, writing, photography and all manner of artworks. Anyone that has worked on monthly independent magazines will know that they are a flurry of last minute decision making and content changes and these issues demanded dedication to late nights and fast paced deliveries. Every issue was totally rewarding, absolutely fun to play with and allowed Studio Gpop to bring a kick of personality into the work. This incredible glass building will offer retail, office and residential opportunities as well as becoming a major feature in one of London's most famous areas. Inspired by architectural blueprints we created a 'Digital Print' tool for the marketing suite. The printed technology uses conductive inks that agents use as a remote for the presentation slides. As part of the Anti Design Festival, Neville Brody asked us at AllofUs to create a responsive project. We decided to play chinese whispers. Working from a brief that only one person knew, each member of the team produced their own interpretation of a statement and image that was passed from member to member. I reflected on the brief I'd just received and the time sheet response I was handed. We were involved in many aspects of the interactivity for the new product which became the hugely successful 'Kinect' for the XBOX 360. Rare are now one of Microsofts leading games developers and I was involved in concepts for their 'Sports' release which included several concepts for brand, interface and packaging designs.
